Social freezing will be available to all women.
DOROTHEA
The cowrie shell symbolises womanhood and female fertility.
The medical term for social freezing is oocyte vitrification – a process in which a woman's eggs are frozen for future use in fertility treatments. Oocyte cryopreservation not only empowers women to take control of their own future but also has the potential to help address demographic decline.
35 is the number we have to watch! Fertility declines rapidly in women after this age, so social freezing is recommended before reaching 35.
I believe egg freezing should be made accessible to all women and fully covered by health insurance.
Dorothea Csák | Advocate of social freezing
Where the magic happens - I call it WMF. The womb and fallopian tubes. We need to be able to visualize and openly discuss it to bring about this change: making social freezing accessible to every woman.
